Zack Snyder's Justice League, often referred to as the "Snyder Cut", is the director's cut of the 2017 film Justice League and presents the original and uncompromised vision for the film by director Zack Snyder, with a screenplay with Chris Terrio and story by Snyder, Terrio, and Aquaman screenwriter Will Beall. Unlike most director's cuts, Zack Snyder's Justice League was released as a separate movie with an entirely separate title and marketing campaign. Differences between the theatrical and final films are listed here.
The film was released on HBO Max on March 18, 2021. With a run time of approximately four hours, it is the longest DCEU film to date. It is also the third R-rated DCEU film following Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - Ultimate Edition (2016) and Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) (2020).
