V. Castro is a Mexican-American, two-time Bram Stoker Award-nominated author who writes novels in the horror and sci-fi genres. She wrote the film novelizations for Rebel Moon Part 1: A Child of Fire and Rebel Moon — Part Two: The Scargiver and has expressed interest in writing original stories in that world.[1] She had previously written Aliens: Vasquez, Goddess of Filth, and The Queen of The Cicadas.
