Trivia[]
- Notaro's character was originally portrayed by Chris D'Elia, but he was digitally replaced with Notaro.
- During Notaro's replacement photography, every shot that included Peters had to be reshot, including blurry background shots. This was the most technical portion of filming, as lighting and camera angles were free and loose for principle photography, but had to be heavily calculated so the replacement shots would match the existing shots.
- Since Notaro was decked out in so much combat gear and filmed so many shots alone, she thought she was the main character of the film. When she found out most of those shots were blurry background images, Zack Snyder gave her a "Best Out of Focus Actor" award.
- Notaro was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in the 2021 Hollywood Critics Association Midseason Awards for her role as Marianne Peters.
