"He is incredible. I would work with him again in a heartbeat. He is incredibly talented. He's a genius and he's very consistent and kind, and he made this experience a dream. We just wrapped 152 days of filming. We started filming in March and I started training for it, my stunts, in January, but I've been working on it since about maybe fifteen months. I mean, I just wrapped, but by far one of my favorite experiences. I can't wait to see what we did."

Sofia Boutella (born April 3, 1982) is a French-Algerian actress and dancer. She was the first person cast and announced for Rebel Moon, in which she portrayed the protagonist, Kora. After a photo of her hanging out with the cast of Zack Snyder's Justice League during principal photography circulated, rumors swirled that she had a secret role in the film, but this role never came to be.
Boutella was born in Algeria, but like Kora, was raised elsewhere. She started her career as a dancer, showing up in music videos and touring with musical artists as a backup dancer. Other than the touring, filming for Rebel Moon was very similar to these early days, with all the intense physical requirements.
