Peter Aperlo is an author and screenwriter who worked on multiple projects relating to Cruel and Unusual Films media, then eventually The Stone Quarry media as well, starting with writing the screenplay for the 300 tie-in game for the Playstation Portable, 300: March to Glory.
He continued by writing the tie-in game for Watchmen, Watchmen: The End is Nigh, which came out on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, as well as the companion books, Watchmen: The Art of the Film and Watchmen: The Film Companion. He wrote his third tie-in game for the following year's release of Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole with a game of the same name for Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360, which also had a Nintendo DS version with an alternate game design that reutilized Aperlo's writing.
Aperlo's next three The Stone Quarry projects were art books for 300: Rise of an Empire, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Army of the Dead, titled 300: Rise of an Empire: The Art of the Film, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice: The Art of the Film, and Army of the Dead: A Film by Zack Snyder: The Making of the Film. After all these projects, he finally joined the production of the mainline project, Twilight of the Gods. He then returned for Rebel Moon: Wolf: Ex Nihilo: Cosmology & Technology and Rebel Moon: Wurm: Ex Materia: Heroes & Monsters to tie in with Rebel Moon Part 1: A Child of Fire and Rebel Moon — Part Two: The Scargiver.
In addition to his work with The Stone Quarry, Aperlo wrote The Devil's Gate with Clay Staub.
