Jamie Chung (born April 10, 1983) is an American actress. She started working with Cruel and Unusual Films for 2011's Sucker Punch, in which she played the team's pilot, Amber. She was later cast as Hel in Twilight of the Gods as well.
Biography[]
Jamie Jilynn Chung was born in San Francisco on April 10, 1983, and raised in the Bay area.
Jamie was working as a waitress at a bar called Tremors when the Real World crew conducted auditions there. She was convinced by the crew to try out, and she was cast in the reality show, The Real World: San Diego. This role became her big break in 2004, then she followed that with MTV's game show Real World/Road Rules Challenge in 2005. She made the transition to acting with a guest role on Veronica Mars in 2006. Then came more guest shots on series like Days of Our Lives, Greek, ER, and CSI: NY. Also in 2007, Jamie made her big-screen debut in I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. In 2008 she nabbed her first leading role, the title character in the TV series Samurai Girl.
More supporting roles followed on silver screen and the small screen until she was cast to replace Emma Stone as Amber in Sucker Punch. In 2011, she appeared as Lauren, the bride-to-be, in The Hangover Part II. Jamie had a recurring role on NBC's Once Upon a Time TV series as Mulan.
Chung won the following awards for her acting:
