Hans Zimmer (born September 12, 1957) is a German composer who scored several projects with Cruel & Unusual Films, Inc. and The Stone Quarry. He started with Man of Steel, then teamed up with Tom Holkenborg for its sequel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Holkenborg and Zimmer split up to work on different projects in the DC Extended Universe at that point, with Holkenborg doing Zack Snyder's Justice League, and Zimmer doing Wonder Woman 1984.
Later, as Holkenborg was having difficulty coming up with the perfect voice for Army of Thieves, Zimmer heard about the project and happened to call Deborah Snyder to ask to compose the project at just the right time. He, then, did score the movie.
Zimmer also scored the extended Netflix tune used for the Netflix logo intro that plays before theatrical films, and his Man of Steel score was used in the Superman 75th Anniversary Animated Short.
