Eli Snyder is an American director, actor, football player/choreographer, and special effects team member. He's the son of Zack Snyder, and as a result, participated in Zack's early work, portraying the child versions of 300's Leonidas and Watchmen's Rorschach. He also portrayed a young soldier in Sucker Punch, as well as the booking cop in Snow Steam Iron. He contributed to the special effects of Snow Steam Iron.
As a quarterback, he choreographed the football scene for Zack Snyder's Justice League, working with Ray Fisher to get Fisher moving like a footballer. He also helped Ezra Miller as a camera operator for "Hanukkah, O Hanukkah". Eli makes his own films and got his master's degree from the American Film Institute in 2022. After his graduation, he joined the production of Rebel Moon as the second unit director.
After Rebel Moon, Snyder signed with Believe Media, which had produced the opening titles sequence of Watchmen, trailers for Zack Snyder's Justice League and Army of the Dead, and Zack Snyder's Infinity commercial starring Kate Hudson.[1] While with Believe Media, Snyder directed "Liquid Death x Rebel Moon: Mandatory Beverage of the Motherworld Commercial" and "F FUEL is for Farmers," which were Rebel Moon tie-in commercials with Liquid Death and G FUEL, respectively.
Snyder made his television debut directing the pilot episode of Until the Last One.
