Djimon Hounsou (born April 24, 1964) is an African actor. He portrayed General Titus in Rebel Moon, which wasn't his first time working with Zack Snyder. When Snyder was still in school at ArtCenter College of Design, Hounsou was working as a model and Snyder photographed him. Hounsou didn't speak English at the time. While he didn't work directly with Snyder on projects set in the DC Extended Universe, Hounsou portrayed the voice of King Ricou in Aquaman and the wizard, Shazam, in Shazam!, Black Adam, and Shazam! Fury of the Gods. Hounsou can be heard singing in the first Rebel Moon trailer.
Hounsou is one of many The Stone Quarry veterans to appear in the Fast and Furious franchise, portraying Mose Jakande in Furious 7. He also starred in Steven Spielberg's Amistad, which also featured Anthony Hopkins, for which he won the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Motion Picture award from NAACP's Image Awards and was nominated for a Golden Globe. He had a major role in The King's Man alongside Matthew Goode. Sofia Boutella also appeared in the Kingsman franchise.
