David Brenner (November 3, 1962-February 17, 2022) was a film editor who worked on multiple Cruel and Unusual Films projects. He edited all four of Zack Snyder's directorial projects in the DC Extended Universe, those being Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League, and Zack Snyder's Justice League.
He also edited 300: Rise of an Empire and was one of the select few invited to work on Snyder's personal short film, Snow Steam Iron. He joined other cast and crew of Batman v Superman for a charity Q&A panel at Zack Snyder: The Director's Cuts in 2019. Brenner lost his life in 2022 without warning, and the cause has not been publicized.
