Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas is an upcoming animated series that will serve as a prequel to Army of the Dead, taking place during the initial spread of the zombie plague in Las Vegas. The series will feature several returning cast members reprising their live-action roles, as well as a cast of new characters, starring Joe Manganiello as Rose, the protagonist, and Christian Slater as Torrance.
According to Zack Snyder, the six-episode series will cover half of the events between the initial outbreak and those of Army of the Dead and will run approximately two hours in total. The series has been held back from an initial release plan of spring 2022 and is currently undated.
